The anglergel image kinda resembles the lure on the anglerfish's body. When you put this on a standing torch, it also just looks like the anglerfish's lure has been placed on top of the torch. Are we holding a piece of flesh that was harvested from a dead anglerfish?

Everyone saying "kill achatinas to get this on old mobile" but here is an actual meaningful tip:

There are only like 6 uses for this:

1. Crafting electric prods

For a primitive one it takes 15 to craft, after it breaks it will cost 8 to repair

2. Crafting night vision goggles

For a primitive one it takes 3 to craft, after it breaks it will cost 15 to repair plus 8 absorbent substrate.

This is also useless on old ark mobile as it doesn't even give any noticable effect if you wear it, unlike shadow steak saute.

3. Crafting heavy miners' helmets

For a primitive one it will cost 5 to craft, after it breaks it will cost 3 to repair plus you will also need some of every type of material needed to craft it to repair it.

4. Taming mantas

Mantas can only be tamed with angler gel, the number needed depends on your taming speed which can vary from platforms and whether or not you're playing on singleplayer plus its level

5. Putting it in a standing torch or wall torch and seeing the cool blue color

This will also fuel the torch for 3200 seconds per angler gel (53 min 20 seconds) so if you wanna put 800 in your torch then light it for 29 days and 15 hours then it would be cool

6. Using it in a refining forge

If you put 100 in a forge it will power it for 6 hours and 40 minutes and be able to smelt 2400 metal (1200 ingots) so if you are on multiplayer you can light this ip and then go to sleep

Note that if you are playing on singleplayer and mobile you will have to stay near the refining forge and have your device on the whole 6 hours and 40 minutes in order for the 2400 metal to be smelted or sleep, die, and respawn 40 times in a bunk bed to skip time

So now that you know the 6 uses look at all the anglergel you have stored in your vault then think "is this really worth storing"
