If you have gun pike or a sword you can kill them eaislybut you need a flying creature so you can kill them from air from your creature but its health must be 800 or above👌

For taming it is INFERIOR to death worm horns.

If tamping a Mantis on rag just kill some Ice worms, actually easier than killing rhinos and more efficient. On other maps use rhino horns for recipes such as antidote.

An easy way to get one of these without going through the hassle of fighting them is to get on an argy, get the rhino to chase you to a pack of daedons, direwolves, carnos and yuty, basically just get them to kill it for you. Granted, you will have to lure them away from the bag, but whatever.
