What is it good for? Because I keep on gathering it but don’t know what it’s good, so can somebody tell me please.

I feel like aranos should drop spider silk which is silk in every way, it’s just dropped from a spider.

Spiders do not drop this. It can be harvested from the purple flowers in the highlands on rag or from killing lymantria

On scorched earth the purple flower give some silk when grabbed

I'm pretty sure lamantrias also drops silk
