For those wondering why the club is the best, it’s because each time it gets organic polymer, it gathers 4 at a time (same as sword), HOWEVER, since it’s damage is 8 the body lasts far more hits, meaning you can get more polymer. For example, a sword would break the body in like 2 hits, meaning you would only get 4 polymer if your not lucky. If you used a club, it would last maybe 10-15 hits, meaning you would get much more organic polymer, assuming you don’t get unlucky and keep getting given 1 hide.

Taming an Achatina (the snail) is a good way to farm organic polymer since after taming it it will produce 100 cementing paste and 100 organic polymer after a certain amount of time(only after being set to wander). And for me it seems that they will be content to just eat out of a feeding trough instead of eating exclusively cakes so it is a good way to farm both items with relative ease. And you can store it into a kairuku or some other tame to store it before you start to craft something.

Tame achtinas, Low level will be good then bigger, so tame low level, they also can preserver organic poly and also produce it in their inventory! I opened a acha Tina farm lol. So much CP and Organic poly!!

If you are ever defending your base, keep an org poly in your hot bar. If you get grappled or something, eat. No cage for you now :)

(On Rag) Go to the volcano, riding a wyvern, and have a all weight argy on follow. Make sure the argy is on passive. Kill mantis, then harvest them with the wyvern, and load all the poly onto the argy because of the weight reduction. I got thousands of poly in about half an hour using this. If the argy has about 1000-2000 weight you can go for about an hour and come back with thousands of poly.

Don't know if this works on all versions, but if you're looking for a way to store it, the large snails will apparently double or triple the shelf life when it's in their inventory. Just don't forget to feed the snail a veggie cake every now and then.
