To that guy from oct 2020, Hey o it’s me that guy who wrote the conv. Method, (blackout is my name btw) um the method is still functional and I jus tried on my single player casual save and the method is still working. I don’t think that the method is broken but here are a few things to note.

1: ONLY works on casual

2: Most servers aren’t casual

3: you may have forgot to take out the normal polymer

4: You might have tried on a older version of ark

Can be created by achatinas (snails) like the dung beetle creates oil but you dont feed it anything it will create polymer overtime dont eat it it will instantly kill you no it wont give super powers its a lie

So, for that guy that said about converting organic poly to regular poly, you can do it in reverse as well, converting it from orgAnic poly to hard poly. This is useful only for Ghille armor if getting organic poly is hard on the map you’re on. You need to craft soap with hard Poly, then grind the soap. This will give you organic Polly you need. Enjoy!

There are green dead dinos on Fjordur that give a lot of organic poly and spoiled meat

To obtain a lot of this stuff, kill karkinos and harvest their bodies.

On the south beaches of valguero there are deceased ichtys and you get alot of organic polymer from harvesting them

For those like me who play Hardcore just convert it to soap then grind it in an Industrial Grinder if you ever need Organic polymer again. Soap don't spoil so it's an effective way to preserve organic polymer.

Saw a tip that the club was only listed as better at gathering organic poly from kairukus than the sword because they supposedly had the same gather eff. and club would come first alphabetically. Please note that the club is listed as “Wooden Club” in Dododex and thus would come AFTER the sword alphabetically.

In summary, I can tell you from experience that the club does in fact have better organic poly gathering eff. than the sword.

on Scorched Earth, take a very high level thylacoleo to any cave. or the dunes. then, beat up EVERY mantis that you find, and harvest it with the thylacoleo. it gives you a crap ton of organic polymer

Club is way better because the sword and club give the same amount of polymer per hit. The club gives you more hits than a sword, so more hits = more polymer

This is an incredibly easy way to get the tasty (i mean deadly) substance called organic polymer. Get on a high level crystal wyvern. With lots of melee. Bring as high level a club you have. Look for mantis and start blastin’ that breath. Get off you wyvern, get your club, and start beating those mantis bodies senseless. Boom. You just got yourself a bunch of dinner meals (i mean fabricator resources)
