Chemistry bench is best structure to build as a way to get polymer back as chemistry bench require less of other materials to build with respect to other structures.

If you're doing a poly farm with penguins, use the pelagornis to farm the carcass. I used an ascended club and get 8 average. With the pela, I'm getting 30 average

So much easier to get heeps of polymer very quickly is to tame a decent level moschops (this is easy unless they require something you don't have). Put all the harvesting levels into polymer gathering and go kairiku hunting. For pc use c to harvest. I got thousands of polymer in less than an hour doing this.

Go to the valcano in ragnorak and kill mantis with a creature, I used a griffin, it gives u a shit ton of polymer and chitin

Make sure to do the pursuit that gives you an ascendant sword, I believe it's the pursuit where you have to kill raptors or the one where you have to kill terror birds. With the ascendant sword and higher damage the sword produces, you'll get more polymer.

People mention converting but your going to lose metal and crystal crafting stuff. Best thing you can do is put org poly (or corrupt nodes) in a cooker with oil and turn it into soap. You can stock pile and grind the soap up to get poly back. 3 poly 2 oil = soap. Ground up returns 1 oil 1 poly.

Use a mantis with clubs in their hands I think it works better

In scorched earth go out to the big desert biome I would recommend a wyvern or thorny dragon go kill some mantis's and harvest with a club you get loads of organic polymer
