Just steal all the woods in the giant beaver dam...beware tho if one of the castoroids near you it will aggro you

I just tested this with the Gigantoraptor and it has 50% weight reduction for wood as of 11-27-24. It’s not listed yet (probably because the dino is new) so i wanted to share here 😁

The Mamute is better than Castor

If you don’t have access to a stryder, Mammoth is your best friend for wood! Better weight carry amount and has better weight reduction. Collects just as much as the beaver

Put all a theris gathering levels into soft gathering give it decent amount of mele and c attack a tree, it will give 1300 on official setting for a small tree.

They nerfed the Mammoths. Used to get a ton of wood, they were the 2nd or 3rd. Now, they’re just oversized thatch harvesters. But great weight reduction. A Therazino to harvest and a Mammoth to carry is the way to go.

Club>Any other creatures/weapon

Ever since the stego’s TLC it’s been crazy for resources like wood, just beware that it doesn’t have the weight reduction like the mammoth.

Use a mining drill on a large tree in the redwoods (not the massive ones you can't harvest). It'll give over 2k wood and 20k thatch per tree on a 5X gathering server.

Bro why is stego so low? You get 200 per swing just use hardened plates

Here’s One: Chapter 2: Resources and Crafting: Now that you’ve made a character, and spawned, if you want to get closer to beating the island, you’ll need resour- wait, I forgot something in the previous chapter.. controls! left stick to move, right stick to move the camera, A to jump, and press down left stick to crouch. Anyway, as I was saying, you’ll need resources. Find small stones on the coast (not to be confused with seashells that can’t be picked up and have no purpose) and pick up the stones. also, punch trees (totally not a Minecraft reference) to get wood and thatch. now that you have resources, open your inventory, (press B) move your cursor (left stick) to crafting, move your cursor to the rock strapped to a stick (stone pickaxe) and press A to craft. Wait until it’s done crafting, go into your inventory and equip your new tool. hit big stones with it to get flint, to craft a

different looking stone strapped to a stick, and a torch.

Striders are the best with the harvester attachment because of the AOE
