At this point we've reached Gen 4 I believe. Gen 3 would be those around the time of Red Dragon, Jedi, Dock, Silverwings, etc. So many new fanfictioners joined in about your time. Writers such as you, HJK, Spiritbird, WhiteWinterTiger, Lava, and Bloodhound are Gen 4.
I actually started out writing, not with stories but with limericks (a type of rythmic poem) for creatures, which is how I got my name. CL1 is short for Creature Limerickist 1. Seasnake and a user by the name Floofy joined the "Creature Limerick Clan" later on. My most popular five limericks can be found in the encountering sections of Direwolf (doesn't have my name on it), Beaver, Titanoboa, Megalania, and Cnidaria. There are others but you'd have to dig to find them.
As far as my stories, I only have two, though I'm working on another. The first is "Procoptodon Chronicles" (the first few chapters are under the name "Roody the Great.") The sequel, and far better written one, is "The Final Feast" in the onyc section. You don't really need the first one to get the story of the second one, but there are a few refrences at the begining to the first story. "Procoptodon Chronicles" is happy and upbeat for the most part while "The Final Feast" is grim and serious.
Also, I haven't been active for a while, so I'd like to hear what stories you've all written and where to find them.

So, I am kinda new to ark. But I started reading all the fanfic from the dodo tales guys, and the person who writes the one about reaper and... Yeh the other guy, oof, but anyways, I love the story line so far, and it inspired me to write my own, I have a tiny bit of my own writing practice, but idk, here goes!

As ash fell from the sky, screams rang out in a sarrowful cry all around, as the earth faced vengance for the crimes of man and the victims received salvation. Then flame washed all around, burning all, and tearing through the earth in a rightous rage, then all was quite, the stars met and a sweet silence rang clear, broken only by blessed voices, whispering soothing words to the earth, as it was rebuilt, and grown anew. This time, it would have a chance.

Elen gasped in astounded wonder, as she opened her eyes, not to a crippled world of pain and war, but a beautiful night sky, of stars, a pure air, of life, and a green, of shining glory. She glanced around her, not a soul in sight, but somehow, this was conforting. Something faintly tingled, and with sudden realization she glanced down to see a weird implant of a strange technology lodged into her arm. Weird.
A voice of happiness rang clear through the air from all around. "Welcome, to the ark."

I'm kind of bored writing by myself and having trouble coming up with ideas. I want to do another collaberation story. At least that way we're constantly throwing something new at each other. I don't think it should involve more than 3 people. Red Pike got super chaotic and confusing because of of how many fanfictioners were writing it. Let me know if your interested so we can figure this out.

1st Gen Fanfictioners such as Seasnake, DTG, Bob etc. have been largely inactive on Dododex. It used to be because they were extremly active on the discord, but now even the discord has died off. Of all the 2nd Gens, I think only me, Dilo Girl, and maybe Nazgul are still alive (if only a little bit). Sorry some of you guys never got to meet the most of the 1st and 2nd Gens, but who hopefully some of them will return.
