Sometimes I look back at all the arguments we had back in the day here and I just cringe

I pray you take the next three minutes to read what I have to say about this place.

Never meet your heroes.

"Heroes", in this case, being OGs.

What am I talking about? Well what if I told you some of these original writers were talking behind all of your backs about how you are all just little 10 year olds? How outrageous.

Not all of them are bad, obviously. But most are.

Don't believe me? Join the discord server and search up "Dododex" in the filter. Or, use this link to a google doc that will detail all the messages they've sent about you. They even planned on raiding this place again with FDFC invites.

I hope this inspires you to stop worshipping these frauds. They don't care about growing a strong community any more, they only care about themselves. Even back then, in 2020, when it all began they only cared about themselves. If you weren't a good writer then you'd be ignored and shunned. They don't care about you, they never will.

But as shameless as it is, Achatina story section writers certainly do. I promised not to advertise, but I must for the betterment of modern day fanfictioners. I promise you that it will be better than this rotting dump.

Oh, and if you don't like what I have to say? Don't bother trying to dislike this. You WILL see this tip at the top of this section in all filters, Top Rated, Popular, and Newest, whether you want to believe me or not. Those OGs are just fradulent scumbags who only care about themselves. So, stand proud, and create your own legacy on the Dododex instead of praising those who have already moved on.

How to view story section tips/messages in real time:

1. Go to a browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox anything works)

2. Search up Dododex Stories and click on the link.

3. Filter messages by Newest

4. Refresh

5. Ta da! You can now view messages in real time.

PS: This only works for story sections on creatures, and not dyes as dyes do not have a story section.

How to catch impersonators:

If you spot a suspicious or concerning message, then follow the following steps.

1. Go to Dododex Stories

2. Find the tip/message that is suspicious.

3. Click on the day the story was posted, or how long ago it was posted (eg: 3 days ago OR Mar 19, 2023)

4. Scroll to the bottom where it says "More stories by author". If those stories/messages dont match the stories the real person posted.. its an impersonator!

PS: This only works in story sections of a creature, as dyes do not have story sections.

I also hope this encourages you to migrate to a story section. I understand Silver Dye has been a staple within the community but there are lots of security concerns with it. (especially with the PD situation and trolls in the past). Consider moving to an untouched story section like Dreadnoughtus or the mods creatures where youre less likely to get bothered.

Hello again. It is not a joke that Tina died, for those who were asking. I am here again to tell you what she wrote for you guys. It was in the very back:

“I feel really strange writing this. I wanna live a good , long life, but here’s what I want someone else to do when I die:

1, tell all my friends on dododex that they really help me and that they are amazing at so many things. They even helped me to start writing a story when no one else would! I really love the community there. So tell them to never stop writing!

2, put my favorite desert on my grave, peach cobbler. Maybe God will put peach cobbler from my family in heaven!

3, thank everyone again on dododex and all my friends at school, the neighborhood, and all my other friends who really helped me through my life (I know I will make a lot more!)
