Lunar biome certain days it spawns rocks to harvest

It can be found in one of the space area and it looks like blueish and greenish colors with big balls and in the biome you can get black pearls and Mutagel but it’s rare to get it off

It’s in the space biome use a mantis to get it and wait for space to be a brown ish color it took me 3 days to get it and could only craft 1 so yeah get to farming or your can get it from Rockwell’s place underground but it takes longer

Why does mutagel look so yummy

Found in the space bio during certain days

Mutagel can be found on a specific asteroid rotation that also has ambergris. This rotation of asteroid is easily identified with a light purple/brown haze.

It’s found in the middle of the map on asteroids outside the ship harvest with pick

You can find it in the space biome when it has the yellow asteroids mine the rippled rocks or pick it up off the ground in the acid pond in Rockwells inards

On Gen 2 Map when space changes to where u can collect black pearls. When picking up black pearl u might get a mutagel aswell

If your supply drops are white there will be mutagen inside the space biome in genesis 2

I think you can get them on the meteorites in space if you farm the glowing-blue chrystals where you also get element shards

Gen 2 - Inside Rockwell's innards if you follow the route down to the Heart where the final mission is, jump down and float to the bottom you should see what looks like a Stomach wall.. jump in collect the mutagel, i collected by hand as i just found it, BE warned Stomach acid starts to rise from the stomach wall and burns through armor, wait like 2 mins and it washes away, repeat.

Seems Rockwell has bad indigestion

Stryder + Skiff is absolutely terrible for farming this stuff on the asteroids, on official 3x didn’t even get 1k halfway through the in-game day, my unimprinted magmasaur + Skiff gets 8k per run on 3x.

You can find mutagel in the brown asteroids in space. They look like small turd looking rocks. Mine those and you will get 3 mutagel with a metal pick. It’s takes 800 to make mutagen. You make mutagen at a chemistry table hope this helps

The lunar cycle with brown looking boulders has small mineable rocks on it that are dark brown with tiny dots, they give you lots of ambergris and some mutagel!

In the Spacial Biome

It changes at 12:00 pm to a different biome

Mantis are not the best, was getting 4 mutagel out of every 5 nodes. Magmasaur is by far the best. The metal hatchet only have stone.

If you are in a single player world with cave building enabled, or your server enables it, you can set up a tek teleporter in the rockwells innards that will allow you to easily get a stryder to and from the acid pit below rockwell's heart to gather mutagel.

In the place where you can get black pearls there’s a rare chance to get mutagel
