REAL LIFE FACT: Thatch doesn’t actually come from trees! It comes from a layer underneath grass literally called the “Thatch Layer” and is made up of dead ribosomes, roots and plant leaves (mostly grass) and if you rake up your yard sometimes you’ll get some! I might try actually making myself a thatch wall irl someday! Sounds like an interesting craft to me…

i don't get why nobody is mentioning the trike's charge move; i could rack up thousands of thatch with just a couple charges around a forest and the weight is decent enough to carry it all home

Step 1: Charge a triceratops run

Step 2: Charge through a dense treed forest

Step 3: Laugh maniacally and roll around in butt loads of thatch

Easily harvested with Wyverns, rock elementals are really bad at it tho

If possible get a bronto into a large dense forest so that way you can get the most thatch out of a tail swing.

People, don’t use trikes or even brontos. Take a mining drill to a single tree and you could get over 1000 thatch
