For some reason it isn’t listed, but Mining drills get thatch, and a lot of it too

Although the anky is rated higher than doedic, I feel my doedic can do it more efficiently bc it’s roll can go from tree to tree much faster.

In the early game moschops are the best. Later on you'll have brontos or mantisis but in early game moschops takes the cake

The absolute beast that is the Megaloceros even a low level like the one I’m currently using has 300 weight and if your just gathering thatch you can sprint jump around like a mad man collecting hundreds of thatch

Just get a Gigantopithecus, rest of the thatch gatherers are relatively slow. Mine gets 4k in a thatch run

For Mobile the pick is the best! That’s probably why it’s rated #1 on here but

PC The chainsaw is the best.

There is no scenario I've encountered were you get more thatch using a metal pick instead of a chainsaw. The returns are generally a minimum of 2:1 with an average somewhere between 3:1 and 4:1, and sometimes even 5:1. I'll take 500 thatch over 100 any day.

The best way to get thatch is to get a trike and moose and just go ham on a forest.

There's no way the Trike is not #1. It's charge attack just gets 1000+ thatch in one row. It's OP.

I have to agree I have a lvl 190 trike and with the charge attack i can get 1000 thatch in like 1 min or so

Metal pick + palm tree :) palm trees give more thatch than other trees
