Tips & Strategies

Add honey to fishing rods to store honey. Rods are cheap to craft and allow you to store honey without spoilage and no need for fridges.
Beehives, once containing rare flowers, will decay without rare flowers.
Simple queen bee trap: build a 2x2x2 box around the beehive where the beehive is positioned against the ceiling. Use bug repellant and a sword to start swinging at the wild beehive, damaging it and killing bee drones at the same time. Once destroyed you can easily tame the queen bee. She doesnt like traps when she leaves the destroyed beehive is on the same level as you. As this is a 2x2x2 box, you're 1 wall lower then her which allow for easy taming.

Y’all got it wrong, on mobile just raid some dams get a lot of flowers. Once you unlock the beehive. Put at least 200 flowers in the hive. Since the hive can make honey and go over the inventory limit and keeps it from spoiling. So just keep the honey in the hive until you need it.
On mobile just craft beehive and put rare flower in it, 5 rare flower will be turned into 1 honey in 40mins
honey cannot be stacked so good luck try to not make it spoils
its a good bait for fishing as it can lure 3x size fish
Drop it to lure nearby dino by putting it into hotbar and tap to drop it for lure (good for taming tapejara & trap quetzals to tame it)
Dont eat it its not worth of 5 rare flower and 40mins that spent & that it only give 20 food and 8 health
Do not store it in dino inventory cuz EVERY dino (means all herbivore or even carnifore and omnivore) will eat honey from its inventory rather than food in feeding through or even any other food in its inventory (even acathina would rather eat it)
Hope this help :)

I would recommend wearing a grass suit so the bees won’t attack you while your stealing their honey, another good option is to ride a fire bear while stealing honey because they are also immune to bee stings (they are mostly found in grass biomes in the side of mountains) (or anywhere on the first level of aberration) hope this helps, have a nice day😊
On mobile, you can NOT go up to a random wild bee hive to get honey, nor do it with direbears, that is only on pc since for some reason there are differences in gameplay like that between mobile and pc
Instead the only way you can get honey is to tame a giant queen bee, then press the creature icon then create hive, then place the hive on a flat surface and put rare flowers in it.
You can put it on a fishing rod, then remove it, and the spoil timer will reset.
hatchet gives more honey than pick from the rocks in fjordur
Go to the bee cave on Crystal and use bug spray. Hit the small hives on the ground with a pick and you gets gobs of honey and organic polymer.
If you drop honey creatures will be attracted to the honey, so it's really useful for trapping creatures.
For the fellow mobile players: you have to get a beehive and place rare flowers in it to get the honey, it is made in a smithy (can’t remember what level) and can be used to lure wild creatures. Hope this helps!
IF you use a dire bear to collect the honey 🍯 you will get 2 or 3 times as much . Use the swipe attack to gather it.plus you don't aggro the bees or take damage from them,if you do agro them.
