For all newer players, instead of going to a volcano for metal, the smooth, light gray rocks give off a small amount of meta, and so do the small piles of rocks. Metal picks get the most metal, but stone picks work just fine.

They should have an iron golem in ark too. Minecraft has em.

PLEASE don't get metal and metal ingots mixed up metal on the anki has a weight reduction of 300 to 45 butility metall ingots do nothing on the anti only raw metal has a weight reduction

More of a later game setup.

1. Find area with lots of rich metal ore.

2. Catch gasbag & quetz

3. Raise magmasaur.

4. Place gasbag on quetz platform saddle

5. Bring magnasaur in a cryopod

6. Mine then smelt the metal using the magmasaur

7. Place it in the gasbag(no weight for the quetzal). Fly to next place. Rinse and repeat.

Metal a key resource in ark to make progression to ark without it ur just missing out I suggest getting medal and doing regularly metal runs with anything so that you have a nice base with defenses

If you’re in endgame with quetz play saddle then put ref forge or or indi doesn’t matter and you should do this with 3 tribemates because you should have an argy carry the anky, someone on the anky and someone flying the quetz. It possible put as much metal in the anky as possible. You could also do this with just 2 people with the quetz on follow

Anky also has weight reduction from 300 raw metal normally weighs 300 LBS but on an anky it only weighs 45 LBS

it’s not worth alot if you’re on creative mode. Paint it yellow and you have a big ass gold bar

Look for shiny yellow rocks to get tons more metal, you can also google “rich metal rock” or “metal node” to find pictures

grab a pickaxe or axe mine rocks for metal recource make a refining forge put the metal light it on fire boom u have metal ingots

If you put metal in a picksack it will disappear! Do not try it or tell somebody else to do it as it will take you too your mom and dad in bed while they are making babies lol
