As said by others, element can be mines on specific asteroids on the Genesis 2 map. It’s pretty distinctive. The asteroids have an almost ascendant teal type shade to them, and the have basically glowing ascendant teal crystals. The crystals drop primarily Shards and Stone, with a small amount of element even on boosted resource single player game.

An Ankylo is you best best for collecting large amounts of Element. A melee buffed Mantis with high level picks may be able to do better, I’m not sure.

Just take a giga or two and do drops on extenction. You get anywhere between 100-1000. I got 1k last night for doing just 1 purple drop. 0-level to level 8. Twas pretty easy and takes less time than a boss or mini boss.

You can farm on gen 2, with the ankylo in the void zone

You can get element or element dust killing tek creatures.

Gen 2 grab a mantis High level pickaxe and go to asteroid cycle when it’s purple drops , you will be drowning in element! More element than shards of you want shards use stryder .

I have noticed that a pickaxe collects the best element on gen 2 in the shard biom. The strider and the mining drill collects shards the best by far, probably as much to make enough element in the long run. But the pickaxe is still great.

Easiest to get in a certain asteroid cycle in Genesis 2. There’s tons of shards and element for the taking. I play on 3x resourcing, but I was able to gather about 40 in a few minutes (in official that would probably be closer to 13, counting shards).

Increase the view get unstable element but the tech rep gets you element

You just need to go on Genesis Part 2, then wait for Element Biome in the space and farm the blue element crystals with right click punch or with a Mantis u can take unlimited of them because weight dont care on genesis 2 because you can just do a right click punch in the air and then u can fly like without full weight.

Elemen is very important for ferox

Whenever there’s purple drops on Gen 2 there’s element in the space area

On extinction there are element veins that have different health

Low is easy

Medium is medium

And high is hard

Farm the hard element veins to get a lot of element you can farm up to a alpha boss amount quickly

Just bring a high meele doed on the city at extinction and hit the lamp post for dust. Each 1000 dusts give 1 element. Do take note you can't transfer element, so if you're not from extinction, upload the dust and craft the element on your base.
