If you play on the Island, you can trap a few beavers in that little watering hole thingy at the rocky island in south 2. After doing so, just wait for a few minutes/hours, and you'll get a bunch of beaver dams/free cementing paste.

Not sure if it still works, haven't really tried it in a while, but i'm pretty sure it still does. To anyone not playing on The Island, you can just make a small enclosure for them and wait for the dams.

Keep an Equus outside the entrance with a high weight stat to carry it all. once you find a raving crowd of meganeura trying to nip at you, KILL THEM ALL FOR THEIR GLORIOUS PASTE! (araneo, arthropleura and pulmonoscorpius don’t give paste because too big) Also, Getting the artifact of the Immune as a bonus with your stacks of paste is optional, but i recommend it if you don’t already have it so you don’t have to get it later on.

on gen1 there is a lake in the ice biome that has usually 5-10 beaver dams at a time

Instead of spending a long time finding chitin and stone to make just raid the beavers👉 super easy 👈.

Find this in Beaver dams, or use Beezlebuffo and harvest from bugs, or collect from tamed or wild Achintinas.

How to get like 30k cementing paste and a vunch of good blueprints in 5 - 10 minutes. You will need a giga, genesis 2 unlocked and thats it. Go to genesis 2 and do the alpha velo search mission, its easy to do and very easy to learn. Then ginally kill the velo hoard and you will get 15k hexagons and a bunch of stuff as a bonus. Use the genesis shop then to buy cementing paste to get around 30k i think. This looks confusing but trust me its really not.

My personal favourite method involves using a wolf to gather a crap ton of chitin from the island swamp cave, and using a doedic to gather actual metric tons of stone to make thousands of cementing paste. A chem bench works best but a mortar and pestle is fine. If you’re not high enough level for the swamp cave the centre cave works fine as well. Hope this helped 👍
