Kill the little trilobites at the start of the game as they get increasingly hard to find. When u kill them hit them with a pickaxe snd get the pearls

you can get a decent amount of silica pearls on beaver dams but just be careful with the beavers around they will attack you if you enter the beaver dam inventory so if u can just kill the beavers first

On Scorched wait until nightfall and go to the canyon there are plenty of pearls there.

Stryder does great for pearl runs

In scorched earth if you see a area with water generally if you find these clams in the water that give a lot of these

The place where you will find the most silica pearls guaranteed thats not in the ocean is in the river in the northwest part of the map. Warning that this river is for the most part head deep and murky in some parts even on old ark mobile and it cuts through some cold areas so you need fur or scuba pants. If you go to the pond area next to the snow cave you will find loads but spinos or barys can spawn. If you head up north all the way to where the river ends then turn east there's also alot of silica pearls on the shores. On pc and ume silica pearls can't spawn on herbivore island.

However if you dont wanna fly all the way to the corner of the map you might as well tame an angler since 95% of the silica pearls on the map are in waters that are head deep or deeper and can fit an angler, chances are the closest silica pearls to your base are in the ocean, you can ride them without a saddle, they are fast enough to escape anything except tusos, alpha mosas and alpha tusos, and they can harvest 5x more silica pearls by biting them than a human can by picking them up. For example I only get like 20 silica pearls per clam I pick up but my angler gets more than 100 per clam. So just tame an angler any level can work.

You can find these on herbivore island, and also in the rivers in the tundra, (trust me you just need to dive in them theyre there)

also uh theyre found on the ocean floor and caves

Use an angler. Don't have one? Tame a diplocaulus and kill trilobite with it

In Gen2 the summerworth lake and bay has a lot of silica pearls in the water. Great way to get them if you have a swimming mount to help with mobility

Along west coast where the beach and arctic border meets are a lot in the shallow pools. Around 38 lat 19 lon

On ark mobile, if you go to herbivore island you can easily get HUNDREDS in a travel

You can find plenty in beaver dams on ragnarok along with cementing paste rare flowers and rare mushrooms. Use an argy. They can withstand a good punishment and take off at short notice. Me and mighty Dave (my argy) got enough to make about 60 electronics from raiding 3 beaver dams!

What are they used for? I’ve just started playing and have a bunch no use for em yet

You can find shells on the beach that give them too, at least in mobile.

Baruch: You can find this resource at the very bottom of the oceans floor, tons of it!. Scuba gear is highly required.
