Just go to eldrich zone on crystal isles and look for big bubbles that have some black clams/oysters inside of them, put your angler fish inside the bubble, harvest, and enjoy the best black pearls harvester in the entire game, super easy, rank up for people to see this.

On the new map, Lost Island- there is a sunken ship in the very bottom left corner. I mean, tucked almost right in the corner, where the barriers meet. If you go inside the sunken ship, to the bottom of it, you will find clams full of only black pearls. The devs have a sense of humor, I'll give them that!

If your are playing ARK evolved or UME you can gather it in just 5 steps within hour,

Step 1. Tame a basilosaurus. ( U can take Itchy and find it, don't worry plesiosaurs and others are to slow.)

Step 2. Change daino damage to 0.3. ( Basically reduce the dono damage according to youself but don't put it to 0.)

Step 3. Go near the Cavern of Lost last hope and search the ground for sea Eurypterid (Sea Scorpion), ( hint, go inside the cave and search the ground, under the bridge. ) it will give 5 to 7 black pearls.

Step 4 ( Optional ) kill tuso inside the cave, don't worry about damage and grabbing, as your basilo is totally immune to that, it'll give 29 Black pearl at once, ( don't forget to reduce damage in settings, and don't worry about alpha mosa, they don't spawn inside caves,).

Step 5 ( optional ) go find the alpha mosasaur at the upper right corner of the map, behind the carno island, for 100 black pearl instantly. ( And don't look for alpha in caves, they not spawn there at all, all are rumors, Reduce damage to 0 or it will tear u Apart XD ).

Theses are the most effective ways (steps) to gather black pearl, on ASE Island, 100 percent tested,

On Fjordur, the only way to obtain Black Pearls without going underwater is through, one, the Magmasaur den at the volcano in a cave inside the Fire Wyvern den, or two, from taming Gachas found in Asgard. Hope this helps anyone playing on the new map.

Since I haven't seen anyone recommend this, on the Island, go to the cavern of lost hope also known as Artifact of Cunning cave and kill tusos. Make sure to bring lots of scuba tanks and some good dinos, hope this helps anyone

"This is for only mobile players. Just tame a otter and turn on his/her victim item collection from the corner side of your device and give his/her agreesion to attack target and whistle it to follow you. Then go to small fishes and punch them and wait for some time. Keep warned that your otter's have to kill and hervest that not you. If the otter kill and hervst the fish then it will give you black Pearl. But it has only 35.78% chance to give you black Pearl. This is the tip to get black Pearl safely without any damage. Jay hind

first tame an ichthy then go to rag about 75,23 more black pearls then you can carry on the sea floor and not to dangerous just keep an eye out for megs

When you want black pearls in great quantity, here are some things I suggest.

1: Ragnarok: Vikings bay. Bring a good crossbow to one shot any water scorpions, they drop TONS of black pearls.

2:Extiction: Gachas. Sometimes when taming gachas, you can get one that produces black pearls. They produce in big quantities, and for me is by far the safest and easiest way to get the black pearls. Like if this helps!😄

Just become Jack Sparrow and summon Calypso

On the island map, this is such a pain to collect. Takes ages
