Tame a moschops when you start, try finding a high level and tame it

tip for early stages of ark, tame a moschops and enable wandering! your moschops will gather berries for you however if you are at the stage where a moschops isn’t cutting it anymore i could not recommend a dire bear more it’s a decently easy tame saddle isn’t difficult to craft and bears don’t take long to tame with prime meat bears have good melee damage, weight, can run super fast and gathers berries very efficiently so is a good multi purpose tame!

I always like getting the Moschops. They have a wide bite range so chomping a few bushes at a time is no issue. Great early game tame. I will always have a moschops. Can’t ride them in mobile though :(((

For those who are starting out fresh in the game and need of the barest substance to survive, berries found in the bushes is how I started. Get a trike and you’ll collect more. Get an ankly and you’ll collect some but also be able to get stone and metal which comes in handy later on. After that I’d recommend and argi so you can carry the ankly to where you need to go instead of walking. Just some tips for fresh people

Stegos have a weight reduction, always go for them over a trike

Umm idk if this will help but tintoberrys (the red berrys) take about 2-3 days to grow in a small crop plot hope this helped :)

If you want to collect berries passively you can get a tamed daeodon, then place it in front of a cluster of 2 or 3 berry bushes that are really close to each other (preferably in your base so you have easy access).

The daeodon will automatically collect berries from the bush, then after the bush respawns, it will collect berries from the bush again. It will keep repeating this process until it starts to get encumbered, then stop. After that, you can collect the berries and berry seeds from its inventory.

Or, you can just farm them with crop plots.

Brontos, theris, megatheriums, and stegos will not collect berries automatically (that also means when they wander), but daeodons can.

Early game I like to use a anky to gather berries, while its not the best collector, it will give you what you need early game with the added benefit of being able to get some metal. Save your time on a para, get you some low level Ankys (male and female) make kibble get better ankys and a stego.

On Ragnarok, Go to [ 67 , 33] near the beach and bring Bronto, there's a lot of bushes. You can get a lot of Berry there (Hundred or thousand berry per attack)

Trike!! Easy to tame a low level, abundant, they should be way higher than 28. Their saddle is obtainable at much lower level than a bront.. my 78 collected about 90% as my bront and they are so much quicker and smaller.

How do we get brontosaurus I need one but they kill me

Brontosaurus are really nice and good for taming other things.

On low level, use a Parasaur because there faster than trikes and you can just keep running while gathering Berries

Take a bronto to rag, the grassy area next to green OB has little yellow flowers everywhere. Hit them with the bronto. 1 smack and you’ll have literal tons.

Chalicotherium is great for berries and just fun to throw rocks at things

In my opinion, the stegosaur should be ranked as #1 because of its ability to carry berries with reduced weight while the brontosaur gathers more, you end up going home with less than what you started. It takes a little more time with the steggo, but you reap better rewards.
