I have a tip, a really good one just build a trap once it’s knocked out use narcotics Or bio toxin use crops or if you have a breeding megalosaurus make kibble remember to feed it the bio toxin or narcotics because it’s torpor drops quickly

Go onto higher ground where the theri can’t reach you, then put spikes around the theri to protect it, maybe use balm or starve tame the theri, make sure you have a lot of narcotics to narc it when it is unconscious.

Why the heck do theris like meat kibble
Just get 30 bio toxin from jellyfish it's no grind and 2x more strong than narcotics.
U can tame it with mejoberries but you just need to feed him bio toxin time to time.
