I like to use vegetables because the fotograph rares mission say: megalosaurus is rare. I like to tame the chicken who don’t fly when i unlock the big bear trap. With some crops and a 3x SB I tame this chicken who likes to kill me :)

Go onto higher ground where the theri can’t reach you, then put spikes around the theri to protect it, maybe use balm or starve tame the theri, make sure you have a lot of narcotics to narc it when it is unconscious.

Why the heck do theris like meat kibble
Just get 30 bio toxin from jellyfish it's no grind and 2x more strong than narcotics.
U can tame it with mejoberries but you just need to feed him bio toxin time to time.
I have to go into a cave for this..
