Smelt 1 scrap for 1 ingot. Can be used as a direct substitute for regular metal ingots

Use doedicurus if your farming them from lamp tables and benches in extinction

keep a couple pairs to breed and farm the offspring :)

In early game kill a couple of tek parasaur or tek raptors for easy metal(you don’t need 2 metal for an ingot)

Once you kill a tek creature, harvest it with a saber tooth tiger, or a dire wolf. I’ve heard this is an effective way to get a lot of it.
