~{Dwelling’s}~ chapter 7
Nova and Destiny walked father down the cold cave, they saw plenty of bugs but none seemed to care about them. The ceiling was covered in faintly glowing mushrooms, and the the floor had grass growing out of small cracks in the rock, vines covered most of everything and small Crystal shards were laying next to a small hole in the ground.
“Hey nova? What do you think will happen when we get the artifact, last time we had one everything wanted to kill us.. and all these bugs will be on us in seconds if they’re anything like the that creature.” Destiny’s voice echoed around the cave as he spoke but the bugs didn’t take any notice, still. “well… if i put it in my pouch they shouldn’t see it, hopefully that’s enough.” he was still worried about it, they probably could sense it, and he didn’t like his chances of escaping unless they found a small hole they could fit trough. “yes, maybe… but if that creature didn’t see it… why did it attack our den? Surely it didn’t think two scrawny jerboa is worth all the trouble..” now that he thought about it, they were pretty scrawny, he’d have to get them both some bugs to eat after they got out, and not the huge centipede bugs. If they got out at all. “Maybe it was desperate.. we don’t know for sure that it eats bigger things at all, it could be surviving off large numbers of small things, who knows what creatures like that do.”
They walked in silence after that, pondering what big clumsy creatures do for survival mostly, jerboa usually survive off small bugs and cactus fruit, though rarely they found berry’s in the desert, they had no reason to wander away from their home’s and leave the desert, but sometimes big clumsy furless creatures with hair stemming out of their heads, sometimes it surrounded there mouths, they mostly stomped about shooting things, sometimes they rode bigger creatures, but they never bothered the jerboa pair so long as they stayed out of the way. A gasp from Nova startled him out of his thoughts. “What? What is i-“ he broke of as he rounded the corner and saw what had startled her.

I probably won’t be writing for awhile, might though, I really don’t know, I probably won’t be doing much of anything for a few months.
