ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion

Hello! I’m here to share a a true story for you! I’m typing this RIGHT after it happened:

So I live in extinction with my brother on split screen, in the badlands at the obelisk,

And you know that cave at the border full of bugs? Well, we decided to go there, but before all that let me take you back,

At first we spawned in the ice zone, we wanted a REAL challenge (but idk why ark itself isn’t enough of a challenge for us because it definitely IS and we barely ever get very far before giving up) and after a bit of dying, we got enough fortitude to survive the cold with some cloth armor, we found a cozy little cliff side to settle down and for a while, life was good

But after a bit the trees were running out and we needed a safer way to survive down the cliff (there was a path down but no dinosaur ever came up for some reason) and I thought the BRILLIANT idea of trying to tame a level 20 dire wolf with a bola and bat, so me and my brother ventured down and found one, long story short we EVENTUALLY got one, I named her Bella, Bella miracle because at the time she would completely change the way things would go, no more Going down for resource and dying to wolf or deadon And for a while, life was good.

I decided eventually that I wanted to take me and my brothers dire wolf on a hunt for a snow owl, at that point we had metal stuff and I had a crossbow with about 30-40 tranqs, I didn’t want to build a trap and couldn’t build a net projectile, I would have to shoot and track, and that actually worked! The snow owl I knocked out was a level 2 but I was just happy it was low enough to tranq but at that moment 5-6 deadon came, they didn’t seem to see the snow owl and went for me and my brother, I was scared they would kill the owl so we led them to a river, the deadon all went for me and I told my brother to go farther down the river and log out, (this was so that I could lead them away and not drag him with me) and he did it, it was just me and Bella miracle, at the edge of a cliff that led to a trench full of water and no way out, in the end I ran out of stam and Bella died to the horde of level 20 and 55 deadon (I think I’m spelling that wrong?) but it was not in vain, I managed to jump down into a trench full of water the deadon ended up killing me, but there was no way out and they drowned In The trench.

But that wasn’t the end, I respawned and went to the unconscious snow owl taking only the leftover cloth clothes and cooked meat from our chest and went and fed the owl,

After a bit it was tamed and I traveled back, it wasn’t a long way and I met no dire wolf or deadon on the way, life was good

It was a few hours later we got my stuff back from the trench and built a snow owl saddle i named my snow owl Soren (he is now my favorite tame and I love him dearly) from the the movie and decided to move to the desert/badlands, the snow had minimal species and was covered in deadon and dire wolf and was becoming a difficult place to be, so I flew across the wasteland just skimming the sanctuary for minimal corrupted creatures and flew into the badlands, soon after we built base and got my brother back in the game, life was good, and a lot happened here and there but this is getting pretty long so let’s go forward a bit,

I painted Soren yellow and red, he looks epic now, we got a managarmr lvl 68 and gasbag lvl 50 named Khione and Anemio, Soren was a level 69 and I was a level 99, my brothers dire wolf died somewhere along the way, and I found the cave a talked about earlier, it was a sad memory, we lost my brothers lvl 70 velonasaur named Edmond rock, his very favorite tame ever, he loved him dearly and will be forever remembered, but we needed XP and wanted revenge! So we decided to try again to defeat the bugs and, most importantly, the rubble golem that was the reason Edmund died and we had a plan, we would use my gasbag with 344 oxygen to tank the damage in front, my snow owl will heal them whenever it was below half health, and the mana will deal the damage.
