I went to volcano to see if there are any carchas or gigas and i found a level 76. I had high ground cus i was standing at the top. Its very common to find some there and its also pretty easy. You need like 200 to 300 tranq arrows and about 200 narcotics. I said 200 narcotics because once you knock them out itll be ok the first minute. After, it will start loosing torpor like crazy around 500 per second and it has only 25k so there will be 2 stages or sometimes 3 (if youre on single player settings) feed it 100 narcotics once after feed it 50 and another 50 dont feed it quick wait for the big torpor drop, and then you can feed it. Also when i found out how weak tamed gigas are i suggest taming them for design because even my acros are stronger( theyre level 213 and above but still way better) so i suggest taming acros or carchas because not only theyre better they also have abilities and also dont craft a giga saddle these guys are useless unless you max them out and still theyre pretty bad
