Uh I was in Ragnarok near the Wyvern cavern and I got two Mantis. Then I saw the Pyromane. I went up to one and tried to tame it, but my Mantis kept attacking it. I was sad just before it died but then I realised. I tried to call them off but they died in the Pyromane death explosion. Long story short don’t kill a Pyromane with nothing but a couple of low level mantis, they will die in the explosion following the Pyromane’s death. This is why I can’t get Pyromane dermis.
