For the level 24 person, do not fight it, I lost prob 18-20 dilos and one sarco dilo rushing it low level because of its knockback (I also died and respawned twice). Try to live with them until you get guns, they have a small area of aggression, but will chase you across the map if agroed. If that is out of the question, Ik this is going to be sad, but send some dilos to fight it while you and as many tames as possible (set on passive temporally so they do not join the fight) run for you life. They should not chase if your Dino’s that attacked it die.
