He stopped dead in his tracks. "Another Survivor?" Dave said with fear

"Sure is, see? It looks like yo-"

"Shut up, it's coming towards me."

The Figure was encroaching, slowly, keeping its pace across the sand.

"Should we run, Master?" Jen asks.

"Maybe we can talk this out" Dave quietly replies.

The figure first started lightening, then large features appeared, then the face, then the rest of the body. The figure was clad in desert ghillie gear, armed with a scoped longneck rifle and pike to come with.

"Who are you? W-where did you come from?" Dave questioned hesitantly. He knew on the Island that when you face one of these guys, one wrong move and you're shot to the respawn screen.

"Do not fret, Survivor. For I am friendly, I only came to see your map."

"Why?"

"Please oblige and give the map to me."

"..."

"..."

"..alright."

Dave hands over his Navigation Kit, while the Figure lightly grasps it, and thanks Dave for cooperation, then starts scribbling in it.

"Hey, what're you doing, anyway?"

"Filling out some important parts of the map for your aid."

"You still didn't tell me your name."

"Apologies, my name is Exhumed."

"Thanks, mines Dave"

"Quite simple, I see"

"Thanks?"

"I see you, Jerboa, come out"

"DANGIT, I thought I was sneaky..."

"Well, too bad. Jerboa."

"Hey, my map is done, right?"

"Oh, right, here."

Exhumed passes the Navigation Kit to Dave.

"Woah... this is... amazing"

Dave staring at the map filled with information like nearby water veins, metal nodes, and even the Artifacts to escape this place

"No problem. Anyway I'll see ya later, Dave"

"Later, Exhumed"

As Exhumed summons a Cryopod, one of the high-tech transport items in the ARK. As the new survivor throws the pod on the ground, a Astrodelphis popped out, wailing and all.

"Woah what is th-"

Before Dave could finish the sentence, Exhumed had warped away with his "space dolphin" of sorts, leaving Dave and Jen astonished. He left something in the ground with a Note on it

"Welp, wtf happened?" Jen questioned

"I... don't know" Dave said
