ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion

The ARKS: Scorched Earth. SE1.0
Dave lays on the apparently very rough sand. He struggles to lift his head up, but barely succeeds. He is not in a Tek Suit like he was at the Island that felt like moments ago, but back down to crappily made underwear and a navigation kit nestled right in the side of his hip. He remembers his knowledge, all of the Engrams he learned. And his power too, so at least that's a good head start. But he still needs to stand up, of course. He lifts up his head, then shoulders, then upper and lower back, he's now sitting up. His locomotion is equivalent of a drunk toddler after 8 bottles of liquor. But it wears off quickly as he stands up and wobbles a tiny bit, but stabilizes. He looks around, raptors, maybe an ankylo and doedic passing by, and this weird new animal, it has a massive hump and a very dinosaur-esque face, as if all dinosaurs had that face anyway.
But everything aside, he stumbled towards his way to a tree, his legs weren't apparently working as usual but he didn't mind that much. He hoped his arms and fists did so he gave a good *WHACK* to the tree. It gave him an expected amount of wood and thatch and this new material named Cactus Sap. He heard from a documentary somewhere saying that Cactus Sap is actually quite juicy and watery like a watermelon (idk I made that one up) so he looked into it by looking into his stone which he realized is still stuck onto his bones so that's still a problem. But anyway he found out that it is a consumable so he took a small bite of the sap. To his surprise. It does taste like a sweet, condensed watermelon with lots of water inside it, "could be good in a recipe, perhaps a drink" Dave mumbles. Dave has also realized that those were the first words he said out loud since arriving here in Hot-land. Either way, It's hot out here, and he really needs shelter to not burn up.
Trees, trees, and rocks everywhere. It's a sight to see through the heat. But he's focused on resources. A pick is crafted and he starts violently beating a rock, lending him Stone and Flint, a Hatchet was next, then some cloth. There's not really much bushes around so he decides to put that aside for later, sticks and stones make a wall, not a strong one, but strong enough to stand and provide basic insulation. As he wanders around the Scorched Earth to find a viable water source he finds unsurprisingly nonexistent. He gets a notification from his wrist:
"You are Thirsty! Find some water!"
Welp, that's a problem. Without water, he'd be dead in hours, even minutes, he really needs to find a source, NOW. He starts worrying, trying to strain his eyes over a cliff and finds around nothing, and then he can try finding some more cactus sap to consume to postpone dehydration. He turns around, looking behind him for the massive cactus trees. After trotting towards a dusty tree, he materializes his axe out of his back, and starts hitting the tree with good force to knock it over after the 12th swing. From the tree, he gained a decent amount of Cactus Sap, 52, to be precise. He was new to this material, but ate it anyway. It certainly tasted significantly better than berries or even some fruit, but it quenched him for the time being. His hunt for a sustainable water source is still incomplete.
"I'm working on it, I'm sure" Dave says to himself. He hacks off a good amount of sap for the sandy road.
*couple of hours later cause I'm too lazy to write*
Several hours later. We find Dave and his Jerboa he sincerely named Jen after he tagged along without any knockout taming. And it was getting pretty dark, so he set up a Tent with a Hide Sleeping Bag inside with a Campfire outside.
"Hey man, G'night" Dave mumbled before nodding off.
"Yeah, *yawn* good night" an unfamiliar voice called out.
Dave was perplexed. He did do a perimeter check before he- oh wait, the tamed can talk to him. Right.
He snuggled closer to his surprisingly comfy sleeping bag, and Jen was trying to curl up beside him, but was fiddling his tail, trying to get it right.
