Journey Chapter 20

At the terror bird castle, Fenrisulfr was taking control of their kingdom. “My liege, we still have not found the prince yet. But we are still looking for him.” One of the fenrir said to him as it walked to him.

“I have no need to find him, he has no army yet and he is no longer a threat for the moment. Let him and his friend think they escaped with their lives for the moment.” Fenrisulfr said.

“But my liege?-”

“That is all for the moment about Prince Coal. How about losses of our army and how many soldiers did we eliminate?” Fenris said.

“Only four losses, and we killed 75 soldiers and their General captured, however we’re told there is still three quarters left searching for the Five.” The fenrir said,

“I couldn’t care less about the three quarters. Once they hear the news, they’ll scatter to the mountains and crevices of Vennaland in fear. Those that do return will not live long to say a word. As for the general, we’ll have a proper execution for him just to further the point of our control. Do you have anything else for me?” Fenris asked,

“We also have six guards captured and locked away in their prison, the rest were killed before these six surrendered.” the fenrir said.

“One of them being Quake I hope.” Fenris asked,

“He lead the surrender sir.” the fenrir said.

“Ah, Good, now let them sit in the prison with only water to give them, then in a few days, Quake can tell me where the cave they blocked off last year is. She is an important piece for me.” Fenris said. “Yes my lord, is that all you want from the prison area.” The fenrir asked.

“NO. Have one of the other fenrirs search the cells, have them look for a Velonosaur.” Fenris commanded,

“Yes my lord, what is the Velonosaurs name?” the fenrir asked.

“Her name is Ripper.” Fenrisulfr said. And with that the fenrir ran off to curry the order to one of the fenrirs near the prison.

Fenris sat alone for a moment. He looked up to the World Tree and scoffed to himself. They hurt him, they mocked him, and they imprisoned him. All for a mire prophecy that made them fear him. And imprisoned he was for many millennia. But no more, and soon he would fulfill the prophecy and their fear would come true. All because they caused the need for it to become true.
