“YOU WHAT!?!” Draco’s voice thundered throughout the fiery chasm in which his army resided. Slither sat trembling for his life at the entrance to the dark cavern in which Draco spent his time.

“I-I-I’m sorry s-s-sir.” He started. “It wasn’t my fault. I—“

“SILENCE!” Slither shuddered, the sound echoing throughout the trench. “There are no time for excuses. We must move quickly now. They may try to inform my brother of what’s to come. Prepare the army and kill any remaining prisoners that refuse to join. We leave at first light.”

Slither crawled off. He passed by the guard who had informed him of the prisoners escape as he headed to face Draco. ‘What was his name again?’ He thought to himself. It didn’t matter. He had a job to do, and he wasn’t going to make the mistake of failing. He hoped that the few guards who were able to follow the escaping prisoners were able to catch them. Draco’s plan had to succeed. Otherwise—

Slither’s thoughts were interrupted by a loud roar followed by a sort of scream and the heat of flames behind him.
