ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion

This thing is pretty easy to tame, but its size makes it quite intimidating for the average survivor, so let's get started!
1. Prep: I really don't recommend crops or mejo's like dumbass me waiting forever to tame a single bronto, just tame a couple of female Carbonemys/Turtles for their eggs and use them for kibble. "Ughhhhhh, but I don't wanna make kibbbbblllleee..." do you want to wait forever until a dilo kills it in your blind spot? Exactly.
2. Finding: it's ridiculously easy to find them, they're in the edges of the forest to the bed of the river inland, so there
3. K.O: you just need at minimum a primitive crossy, tranq arrows, and good aim, because there's something called "Bullet Drop" so make sure to account that, you might say to always go for the head but only try that if you're REAAALLYY good at aim, so for right now, just aim for the body. Since it is a gigantic animal there must be a lot of torpor, so bring 50-100 tranq arrows to accompany your crossbow
4: Tame: now that you hopefully did not die while trying to knock it out. It's Down! So what now? Now is to do like most people do it. 2 ways: Starve Taming or "Full Taming" Starve taming is to let it become hungry until it is ready for it to consume all of its food at once, or Full Taming, is quite the opposite, just shove in all the food and wait for it to be done
5. Usage: so, good job on taming your bronto, now you need a saddle (it's like level 50-60 I forgot) and now you have most likely the largest tamable creature in your arsenal, and the second largest creature in all of vanilla ark, following the Titanosaur. Since it is so big, you can knock down trees with ease by tail whipping it and simply walking over it, the tail whip is quite long to animate, and does a lot of knockback and a decent amount of damage, Spyglass Glitching is highly recommended. It gathers a plethora of thatch for your wood/stone structureneeds and is very very weight bearing so you practically put a base on it, speaking of bases, did I tell you there's a platform saddle? It's also most likely it's your first platform saddle so that's very nice 👍.
I think I've rambled on enough that you get the jist now so I hope you have fun and thrive in the Ark!
