Chapter 55 ~the high king~

Nash met up with the others, when him and Skyla saw each-other they ran towards each-other and embraced, then both got very embarrassed, and backed up stuttering nonsense, Seascale broke the awkwardness and said, “Good work disstracting the cultistss Nash.” Seascale said. “It wasn’t very honorable…” Nash said regrettably. “Perhapss not, but they got what they deserved..” Fang said.

It was a long journey to get what they needed and get to the green obelisk, but it was also very uneventful, so I’ll spare you the details. The group first went back to the dinopithicus empire to request Xu’s help, of course, he wanted to help so he offered his army and his artifacts, then they went to the onycs and traded a lantern for the artifact of the hunter, turns out the herbs just need a bit of light to glow, not an artifact. After that they headed to the obelisk.

“I sure hope you know what your doing Nash..” Fang said. “Me too.. here goes everything.” Nash said, he pressed the button.

In a flash, they were at the arena, Nash looked around and saw a path, “this way.” He said. They walked along the path until they reached a huge gate, it slowly opened to reveal the arena, it was huge, with massive rock pillars holding up an archway of stone. The Dinopithicus King was sitting on his cliff on the opposite side of the arena as them. “So, you’ve come to face me..” he said, he leapt down from his cliff ledge to them and said, “well, then I guess you’ll die…” He said. Everyone readied their weapons and got in fighting positions, but then the King started to laugh, “I’m kidding I’m kidding, I wouldn’t fight my own people, especially now that they have a good king, that swine Vinestrap just wanted power.” He said. “Well, your right about the power thing but.. swine was just uncalled for..” Vinestrap said. They looked around for the voice, then a part of the arena turned into tek hexagons and disappeared, revealing a control room, Vinestrap was in it, along with an army of lime green lit defense units, he was in full tek armor and had a tek whip. “What is this?!” The high king asked indignantly. “Oh? Nobody told you? Let’s just say your fired, and heres your replacement now.” Vinestrap said. When he said this a huge dinopithicus king leapt down from the ceiling, he was black and red and had a Carcharodontosaurus skull as a helmet. “Who is this?!” The high king asked. “This is Caldren the second! He’s like my son, but better. And he’s your replacement.” Caldren II growled. “Who gave this order! I wish to speak to the overseer! There’s no way he approved this.. this regicide!!” The high king said. “Oh the overseer? Ya also replaced, lots of replacing going on..” Vinestrap said trying to sound surprised, “Attack.” He said. his defense units engaged the dinopithicus troops and Caldren II charged at the dinopithicus king.
