ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion

This happened a few years ago.

When I played on my cell phone, I still knew very little about the game and didn't know much about the dinos.

Apart from a dodo that was my first companion, I really wanted a mount and managed to take down a level 10 female trike if I remember correctly.

Her name was "Natasha" (it was the first name that came to mind lol) and she was my greatest companion and helped me with everything. Carry my materials, face some smaller dinos and help me to explore.

One day, I was heading towards my temporary base, a straw place that I used to store some items without having to go back to the main house (where I left Natasha).

It was a beach full of herbivores, several other trikes and carbos. I was collecting some materials in the late afternoon like any other day, but upon returning to my temporary base I heard some noises of attacks and roars, I believed there was a dilopho attacking anything wild trike, something like that.

The noises continued and I couldn't contain my curiosity. When I left the house, I saw a level 9 Rex attacking several of the herbivores on the beach, next to my house. I despaired and returned to my base, But he didn't go away. He began to attack and easily destroy the walls and ceiling easily.

I was full of items, my iron ores and other things were there, I was trapped inside. If I ran, I would abandon the items in the boxes, if I stayed, I would die and leave my drop at the foot of a carnivore on that level.

My hopes seemed lost... But as I was hit by him, I heard fervent footsteps outside the building.

Yes, it was Natasha. She's been following me this whole time and I hadn't noticed due to the number of herbivores. She didn't think twice, she attacked Rex and getting his attention

I didn't know if I should run... I didn't want to leave there. I stood paralyzed as they fought and the only thing I could do was grab my items from my house and getting frustrated because I had nothing to help Natasha. No arrows, spears, nothing.

I could only run and run... Until I received the notification that my level 31 trike... Died.

She was with me without me knowing and thanks to her I was able to run. She died to save me.

When the next day arrived after the darkness of night, I felt nothing but her absence when I whistled...

I made her a tombstone and never forgot it.

Since that day I always tamed a trike when I played Ark... But I never managed to put the name "Natasha" on any...
