The Orinthian Warrior Book 1 Part 15
Dilo immediately got knocked out by the first boulder and was surrounded by a few more. Around the ring was fire and basically anything natural that meant catastrophe. “CAN WE SPACE OUT THESE FIGHTS A LITTLE MORE, BECAUSE LIKE EVERY 5 SECONDS A BATTLE BEGINS!” Charcoal’s voice yelled in the background as a 60-foot long boulder smashed Dilo’s face.
And that woke him up.
With brute strength, he lifted of the boulder and, after dodging an obsidian sculpture that looked like a Dr. Octopus robot arm (Dilo watched that movie a dozen times), hurled it into the Obsidian Monstrosity’s chest.
The monstrosity crumpled to the ground like it got shot by a bullet. “Man, is that it? I thought it would put up more of a fight. Thank the genius who gave that sack of rocks a heart attack.” Dilo blurted as he hustled his way to the back of the creature.
Charcoal had already climbed on the monstrosity and faced Obsidian, who stood on two legs on the back of the being’s head.
“You know, even though my friends have been terribly injured by you, I AM GETTING TIRED OF YOU.” He materialized two arms with two 150-lbs heavy Ghirahim stage 3 swords. He swung the left one into Charcoal’s side, which sent him tumbling down the creature, and swung the other one towards Dilo, who bashed it with his own sword.
“Fellow swordsman, eh?” Obsidian questioned. “I’d rather not talk.” Dilo answered. Dilo swung his sword towards Obsidian, who blocked it with his swords. Blue sparks flashed off the three clashing swords, or two, now that Dilo Just broke the left one.
Soon after Dilo flung the other sword off of Obsidian’s hand and had him on his knees… until Obsidian surprisingly stabbed both of Dilo’s arms and knocked him to the ground.
Obsidian leaped onto Dilo’s limp body and readied his killer-claw stance. “Time to die now. And say hello to the ‘Crystal Tyrant’ when you reach the afterlife.” He was inches away from Dilo’s neck when- “YOU TELL HER YOUSELF!”
Dilo kicked off Obsidian with both legs, sending Obsidian to the edge of the creature’s head. Then he leaped high above Obsidian’s exhausted body and etched his sword deep in Obsidian’s chest.
Now don’t freak out, Draconis fans, he’s a ghost, he can revive himself 5 hours later after his ghastation (death of a ghost). He will return.
“Ugh…” With his dying breath, Obsidian muttered, “Heh… you fight like no creature I’ve ever known… you’re a paragon of your kind… well fought…” He dissolved into blackish-purple particles that levitated slowly into the cloudy sky…
