ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion

It all started on day one… When I was walking around the beach a particular triceratops stood out to me. It was my soon to be tamed “Vlad”, I immediately wanted it and after quite some time (due to limited gear at the time) I was successful able to knock it out and tame it. From there began the most beautiful friendship, we travelled across the entire map together. He put himself in harms way several times to protect me and in return I did the same, it was till one day on a boat ride back home from again another adventure I ended up taking just a few seconds off the screen and that’s when two huge sharks appeared and ended up luring Vlad off the boat. With no hesitation I jumped into the water and defended my friend, but since it seemed we all had very much health and oxygen was running low for me. I assumed Vlad would be able to hold his own for just a few seconds while I tried to get air, and as I rose to the surface the sharks moved their attention from Vlad and onto me and started attacking me near death. In possibly the most saddest moment I’ve ever experienced on Ark Vlad appeared somehow with the intelligence to put his body in front of mine and allowed myself to escape. Reaching the sand shore from the bottom of my screen there I found it, my best friend had died defending me. Moral of the story is, don’t get attached they will cause u to have a mental breakdown for two months straight.
