Tiny tales: Deranged Desmodus

Once, there was a Desmodus flock situated in a cave made out of hexagonal rocks. All were different shades of red and black and brown, all except one- he was a brilliant purple and white. Unfortunately, to go with his contrasting colours he had a contrasting belief- the smaller the creature, the more blood it gave. So, when a little 2-legged creature walked into the cave with an enormous, long-spined sauropod the other bats went for said sauropod whereas the odd one out went for its rider…

As the other bats swooped down and extracted every drop of blood from the long sauropod, I nicked its rider in my talons and consumed its blood. It had tons! Millions! I kept eating and it kept giving me more until I became soooo fat and full that I dropped him and landed nearby. He was my friend! I’d never had a friend before. He put something on my back, hopped on but saw what my friends had done to his Dino. It was dead, and he told me to cloak us as we spared into the night. We flew towards an island filled with lava from other caves, down a valley made of the same hexagonal rocks my cave was made out of and he hopped off, grabbed a large boulder-stone and flew off on me. I was burnt alive, but before I went I grabbed the pursuing dragon and using my weight dragged him down where he burnt the last of me to ashes but at least my friend could escape. Even if he had just committed kidnapping children that aren’t even born yet.
