ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion

So I was walking back to my base after I had tamed a pteranodon and hunted some animals (dodos and dilos) and I was alerted that I had entered a dangerous area. Then suddenly I tried to get out asap but a barra(or something like that ) charged at me and it was huge. My 2 dilos started attacking it and my 2 mosochops ran away and I was going to aswell and try to save my tames but my pteranodon fought the huge Dino so I decided to help. It killed the huge Dino and that was when I realised I needed to tame more pteranodons and to this day I still have mine.
