If u are playing mobile, i recommend you to tame an ankylosaurus and an argentavis, if you already have the mission of “hunting argentavis” or something like that, do it, it will give u a saddle for Quetzal and then you can carry a lot more weight. When you get your anky and argentavis or quetzal (there is quetzales close to the red part of the map) go to the top of the volcano.
