ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion

I once had a ptera his name was bloodwing, ever since i tamed him i went off killing some stuff for levels and he was a very good fighter, He killed at least 7 alpha raptors and 3 alpha carnos, I named him bloodwing because of his kill count (and also the color red on the alphas) one day I was on the volcano looking for argys to tame, I saw a decent level and went ahead to shoot it ( I was on the volcano this time and I didn’t have a trap ready ) I was trying to peek at the argy when I suddenly slipped. I tried to whistle follow bloodwing but it was out of range, least i think so. I kept sliding down the mountain, through the fogs and a smelly pair of pants. As soon as I saw the ground i exited the game and logged back in. I survived the fall and thought myself that I could never get bloodwing back, When i was thinking I was shocked that bloodwing was already right above me. The whistle follow all must’ve reached him and I was screeching in happiness. I saved him many times and he saved me this time, the next time i couldn’t, I couldn’t save him, I was out again in the tundras killing mammoths or any creature that has pelt, A pack of raptors attacked bloodwing and me, I tried my best to fight of the raptors but then, Bloodwing got too overwhelmed and the pack defeated him, I was furious and took out all my anger on the raptors, I felt no mercy after what they did to my best friend. I took blood’s saddle and till this day I kept it displayed with his dermis, I made a grave for him in the prettiest spot on the island possible, After the raptors were slain I proceeded to just run back to base even though it was on the other side of the map, I had no choice since I don’t have my friend with me anymore, I actually got back to base but I still had a heavy heart and a very tragic loss. I miss him until now
