Lol you’re absolutely right, take as much time as you need and I’m sure all the reader will wait PATIENTLY for you’re stories. Honestly I know something that might help you, or at least it helped me, if you pick a main character and then some other less important characters, that’s how you get started, and once you have all that just pick some larger scenes or ideas like in Lynx’s Tale I just picked that Lynx would be separated from her family, then she found the order of the wild, then she’ll get tamed, and so on, I just work on minor details, like how she got there, when I start writing or typing lol. Sorry if I’m not very good at explaining, but I hope it helps.
