The Pride: chapter 5
(Anyone have tips for the beginnings of chapters? I struggle with the beginnings)
I open my eyes, expecting chaos, but there was none! I look around and decide to go for a run. I run outside the den and start to go for a run. Before i go very far, i look up and see a quetzal, pretty common around these parts. So i ignore it and continue running. After awhile, i see a pond. I decide to go over and take a drink. I look around, and check if the quetz is still there. But it was gone? "It must've flown off" I say to myself. I start to take a drink. Once im done, i decide to head home. I see the grape playing with strawberry, with mufasa watching "hey guys! Hows it going!" I shout over to them. I notice them staring at somthing behind me. But before I can turn around, i feel claws grabing me, and suddenly im off the ground! I look up to see what grabed me, and it was the quetz from earlier! "Help!" I shout. But then i notice somthing. A wild quetz wouldnt go after a shadowmane, it was a humans quetz! I call the pride for help, and can see then trying, but they couldnt reach me. I decide to try and attack the quetzal, and i did hit it, but it still wouldnt let me go. A minute later, and the den is out of sight. I look up and can see the quetzal getting tired, that means they would have to land soon! As soon as they landed, i tried to run, but the quetz just picked me up again. I started to see structures, that must be the humans base. I can hear the human tell the quetz "you got this." Then i see what they're aiming for, a weird box thing. As they try to line it up, I start to move around a lot to try and mess them up, and it worked! I started to try and run again, but they caught me again, and they got me in the box. After trying to escape in the night, it got me tired, and by the time they got me in the box, it was day time. So i decided that i would try again tonight...
