Reletively easy tame if you know what you're doing. First, separate the one you want from it's buddies, so that you don't get whacked by them. Next, you need to put dino gates (stone) in a V formation and stand a little ways away from the tip of the V. After that, just thshoot with tranq arrows from crossbow or tranq darts if you have them, I didn't and it worked out fine for a lvl 5.
