Part Twenty-one

Jared pulled out his gun and killed two of the twelve soldiers. He pulled the trigger again and it clicked empty. He threw it on the ground and pulled out his sword. The third soldier took him on. Jared swung but the man ducked and punched him in the gut, making him call back. Jared reached up and felt something. He grabbed it and slammed it on the guards head. It turned out to be a torch, and the man screamed as the flesh burnt off his skull. Sword and torch in hands, Jared fought the rest, decapicating one, skewering another, until finally, he was face to face with the officer. I know your expecting a huge gruesome fight, but what really happened was Jared tackled him and shoved his torch in his face. Another soldier cooked up panting. He saw Jared's pointed at his face and immediately surrendered.
