For the last few weeks, people have been coming back from death, in new bodys that resemble their old ones. We call them the lucky ones." Naturally, Jared thought he was insane. But he took the deal for three reasons: food and shelter would be nice, he saved his life so he might at least try to pay him back, and finally, he did't feel like being abandoned in the wilderness. So giga hunt it was. Jared learned that the man's name was Angus. Angus took him outside once he had healed and showed him his pack of dire wolves. He let him chose the one he wanted to take on the hunt. The wolf he chose was named Styx, and he was as black as the night sky. They spent weeks preparing until finally, they were ready.
