Dark Fate(I worked for fourty five minutes on a The Bog chapter and accidentally pressed the back button. F>:C)
Darkwater raced out of the cave, shoving himself under the boulder. He bounded away to the scent trail of Blicket, Quinter, Deuvo and Unnigh down the rocky path of the mountain. It lead to another cave and he bounced inside.
"HEY! PLEASE HELP!" Darkwater yowled. He saw Blicket jump up, on alert. Quinter's feathers arose as he carefully scanned the area. Deuvo screamed, and Unnigh jumped up.
"It's Hurricane, he's hurt!" They all rose to their talons and sprinted for the door. Once they got back to the cave, Blicket squeezed in and grabbed Darkwater's father. Half his face was melted off, showing his jawbone. His scales beared scratches from Storm, who sat laying a ways away. Only the faint rise and fall of Hurricane's chest showed he lived.
"Quickly, we need to get the others and head towards the Tropical Hospital!" Deuvo shouted.
Blicket dragged Hurricane as Unnigh and Deuvo flew ahead to get help from the tropics.
"So," the amused voice of The Crystal Queen laughed. "I shall kill, this Flame, with flame!"
Chroneo wanted to kill her at the moment, but he was tied down with Vein and Flame.
'Don't do this,' he thought miserably. 'Just remember, you're next.' He panicked.
The queen had fire coming up through her throat, and the area grew hot. A small orange flare grew into a burning blueish mass connected to her teeth, and she shot a blast at Flame's head.
Vein ducked as a huge fireball engulfed a screaming Flame. He writhed as the black scorched face grew more and more disturbing, and eventually it burned his brain. The body grew limp, and Chroneo felt an even hotter anger rise in him.
'You won't get away with this!' He thought with rage.
Chroneo yelled under the mask. It started to scorch, and it caught on fire. His talons outstretched as he jumped up, pouncing on the giant wyvern queen. She yelped in suprise as he pierced her shoulder, and blasted it with fire.
"You will NEVER get away with killing my friend!" Chroneo swiped a claw across her snout.
