To make Metal Pick, combine Metal Ingot, Wood, and Hide in a Smithy for 5 seconds. The Metal Pick unlocks at level 20 and requires 6 Engram Points.
These also deal torpor at 1 torpor for every 2 damage inflicted (you can sometimes knock out a carbonemys trying to kill it with one) but it is not recommended for taming as you will almost certainly kill your target before it gets knocked out.
This is better at getting thach, flint,metal, and meat than the hachet
755 is the max damage for the pik and most weapons
