Went looking for a shovel and had to get help from Google: The shovel in ARK: Survival Ascended is part of the paid Bob’s Tall Tales DLC (specifically the Frontier Adventure Pack). It is not a base-game item and requires the DLC to be purchased and installed to appear in the engrams menu, where it can be unlocked at level 20.
It doesn’t show in my engrams the shovel
