At least on old mobile this thing does 35 melee damage instead of 10 for a primitive one.

You can get better quality versions of this item from free gifts as an item or regular dungeon chests as a blueprint.

They can drop as primitive/ramshackle/apprentice/journeyman/mastercraft/ascendant depending on your difficulty.

This is my favorite pvp item, if you hit someone with a bola you kill them with this a lot easier than most other melee items.

You can put them saddles so you dont have to carry it in the darkness of arkness

If you wanna collect "rare" stuff for the fun of it, you can get a better version of the torch from dungeons, (blueprint) or daily gifts (may have to use mindwipe tonic to level down first) (item)
