To make Flak Chestpiece, combine Metal Ingot, Hide, and Fiber in a Smithy for 5 seconds. The Flak Chestpiece unlocks at level 56 and requires 18 Engram Points.
Finally, Flak armor. Flak offers 100 armor a piece, the same as a full hide set. However, it is EXTREMELY prone to overheating. Durability is good as well, this is the optimal PvP choice, in most player's opinions.
